I had a great value for my money at Logis Hotel Du Commerce in Autun. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and the location near the train station and car hire was excellent. The staff were helpful and the nearby town centre had plenty of options for eating out.

Food for breakfast could be improved.

We had a room at the front of the hotel and the traffic noise was awful. Luckily the weather was not too hot so we could keep the window closed but we still needed ear plugs to sleep.It would be unbearable in summer.

This was a good budget choice. Great location right across the street from the train station, good security, and a free car park.

No elevator

We had read the positive reviews for the hotel restaurant and decided to eat there. We were not disappointed. Very good food at reasonable prices and a good wine list. The restaurant was full, with plenty of locals dining there. Our room was small and simple but very clean and in good condition. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Good free Wi-Fi connection. Convenient for train and bus services.

It served its purpose and was self contained.

A little hard to find and sheets on bed in poor state - almost threadbare.

Side door for convenient access to parking area was locked in the morning. Because of this you had to bring your luggage through the restaurant and around the building to the parking area.

We had a convenient check-in with a contactless option, even though we arrived late in the evening. The hotel clarified all our questions in advance, which was nice. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was great, close to the center of town and easy to find with street parking available adjacent to the hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient, making our stay pleasant.

We didn't dislike anything about the property.

It is just in front of the railway station. The access to the center of the city is comfortable.
